Old-Fashioned Audio Drama
(General Audiences, Assisted Living, Independent Living)
Our fun, family-friendly, audio drama, THE AMBASSADOR, offers multiple media engagement options with audio, visual, and tactile elements. We have printed tickets for the show and a playbill in the style of an old-fashioned newspaper. The shows are full, theatrical productions of an ongoing adventure, so there’s always something new in each episode. Gradually, we find out about the heroes and their relationships. The shows are based on a series of eight books. We have original artwork for the videos.
People who like book clubs, telenovelas, and soap operas would like these shows. All eight books are available from the Volusia County Libraries and for purchase.
The audio drama could be used for:
- Morning Break (mid-morning) – relaxing in the sunroom. it’s a soap opera.
- Afternoon Stories/Book Club (mid-afternoon) – in the library or table game room
- Evening at the Theatre (early evening) – in the theatre, naturally. serials were very popular.
Artist Workshops
(General Audiences, Assisted Living, Independent Living)
Our artist series, ARTIST ANTHOLOGY, offers an in-depth look at the writing process. Notebooks and new authors are welcome. This would be an opportunity for those who enjoy writing to listen and bring their notebooks to read their own work and to write something new.
People who enjoy the writing process and those who like poetry and short stories would like these sessions.
This could be connected with a book club or storytelling activity.
Variety Shows

Our variety shows produced by, SENIOR HOME CARE ENTERTAINMENT, provide a nostalgic combination of show tunes, standards, instrumentals, and magic tricks. They are designed to provide a welcoming presence and familiar sounds. Each segment of the show is engaging and fun with professional actors and musicians performing.
People who like old-style shows and those who may need more help than others would enjoy these shows.
These shows could provide a pleasant mid-morning or after-dinner engagement activity.
Purchase Options:
We offer two purchase packages and a free option.
- A one-time host-led event ($175) We schedule a time. A host arrives to present the chosen show. The host provides an introduction and engages with the audience. This format is similar to America’s Funniest Home Videos.
- A contract package with host-led events that includes 4 (or more) events ($125). This is entirely the same as option one, but instead of booking just one event, multiple events are scheduled at the same time.
- A self-hosted option (free) After an initial release period, the audio and video for the shows will be made available via our YouTube channels and via our podcast. Materials (tickets, copies of The News, and copies of the books) can be purchased at a nominal cost. Anyone who would like can host a listening event or watch party.
